Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Andrew Lawson along with Deputy Shawn Jackson assisted by Bailiff Cody Faulconer and Constable Denver Mays arrested Ernest Marlow age 32 of Sampson St., Corbin early Saturday morning June 6, 2015 at approximately 1:23 A.M.
Officers were dispatched to a domestic assault on KY 1223 approximately 8 miles south London and upon arrival conducted an investigation learning that this subject had allegedly been fighting with his wife and had assaulted her by striking her in the face and head.
Deputy Lawson noted visible injuries on the victim's face and head.
In addition, he noted that children were present in the home at the time.
Ernest Marlow was charged with assault – fourth degree – domestic violence and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
