Man accused of trespassing in Laurel County also a fugitive wanted in Clark County, Indiana

Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Shawn Jackson along with Deputy Kyle Gray and CSO Roy Ball arrested Robert Osborne age 32 of Collins Lane, Corbin early Sunday morning June 7, 2015 at approximately 12:24 A.M.

The arrest occurred off Felts School Road, approximately 11 miles south of London after deputies were dispatched to a disturbance complaint at some apartments there.

When deputies arrived at the scene they learned that this subject had allegedly been involved in an incident there earlier and had been asked to not return to the property.

In addition, deputies determined this subject was under the influence and deputies also determined that this subject was a fugitive wanted in Clark County, Indiana.

When arrested this subject briefly scuffled with officers and also attempted to conceal a small container of pills from the deputies. Deputies recovered the small container of pills containing Klonopin, a schedule IV narcotic.

Deputies had to escort this subject to a police car.

Robert Osborne was charged with criminal trespassing – third-degree; public intoxication; possession of a controlled substance – third-degree; tampering with physical evidence; resisting arrest; and fugitive.

Robert Osborne was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
