(Richmond, Ky.) - On June 23, 2015, at approximately 3:44 p.m., the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch, assisted by KSP Post 7-Richmond, arrested Senica D. Taylor, 38, on charges related to possession and distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.
Taylor was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect sharing images of child sexual exploitation online. The images included prepubescent children engaged in sexual acts.
The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at Taylor's residence in the evening hours of June 23, 2015. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP's forensic laboratory for examination. The investigation is ongoing.
Taylor is currently charged with 20 counts of possession and five counts of distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor. All charges are Class D felonies with each count punishable by one to five years in prison.
Taylor was lodged in the Madison County Detention Center.
