Indiana fugitive nabbed by Manchester Police Officers - Clay County



Manchester, Ky. - MPD is reporting that on Friday, June 26, 2015 Manchester Police Officer Jeff Couch and Assistant Chief Patrick Robinson received a complaint of a four wheeler being driven on the roadway within the city limits.

Officers Couch and Robinson made contact with the ATV on northbound US 421 near the Shell Gas Station.

When the officers ran the license from the operator's home state of Indiana it was determined that Nathan Childs age 34 of Camby, Indiana was wanted on outstanding warrants from Indiana as well as several State of Kentucky charges.

Nathan Childs was arrested for operating an ATV on the roadway, operating on a suspended operators license, failure to surrender a revoked operators license, and being a fugitive from another state.

Nathan Childs was lodged in the Clay County Detention Center.
