Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Shawn Jackson along with Sgt. Brett Reeves arrested two individuals on Monday night July 27, 2015 at approximately 10:55 PM.
The arrest occurred on US 25W, approximately 12 miles south of London after two individuals were located in possession of a black colored 2001 Nissan pickup that was reported stolen from Whitley County, Kentucky – the rightful owner of the vehicle was from Lexington Kentucky.
Arrested was: Jennifer Sutton age 28 of Tuggle Cemetery Rd., Williamsburg charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000 and public intoxication – controlled substances – this subject was determined to be under the influence and stated she had been taking Suboxone.
Also arrested was: Walter Jones age 45 of Cowbell Lane, Emlyn, KY charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000.
Both subjects were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
