Clay County murder Investigation

Clay County, Ky. - The SAM 103.9, WWEL FM website is reporting that more information is coming to the surface in a Clay County murder.

According to the SAM 103.9, the Clay County sheriff says 24 year old Trevor Dykes was shot multiple times Monday morning in the Goose Rock community as he was leaving his home for work.

Family members say Dykes was a father who was passionate about working on cars at Hot Rods Service Center.

Sheriff Kevin Johnson says they are looking into whether Dykes was targeted because of a child custody case.

Johnson says they are interviewing several people of interest but had not arrested anyone yet.

He says he hopes to file charges soon.
