Two subjects arrested along with parole violater in Laurel County

Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Detective James Sizemore arrested three individuals on Tuesday night August 18, 2015 at approximately 11:16 PM.

The arrests occurred off Bill subdivision Road, just west of London.

As deputies approached the residence to serve a parole violation warrant on a female subject there, two male subjects inside the residence attempted to flee as one subject attempted to dispose off drugs.

Arrested were:

1. Deanna Morgan age 41 of Overview Dr., Lexington charged on a parole violation warrant and a failure to appear in court warrant.

2. William Botner age 39 of Bill Subdivision Rd., London charged with tampering with physical evidence; possession of marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

3. Jonathan Segraves age 27 of Old Union Church Road, London charged with possession of a controlled substance first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine – this subject had a bag of a crystal substance in his possession.

All three subjects were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

Assisting on the arrests were: Sgt. Robbie Grimes, Sgt. Larry Parrott, Deputy Rick Cloyd, Deputy Brandon Broughton, Deputy Kyle Gray, Deputy Travis Napier, and U.S. Marshal Todd Hansford.
