Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Sgt. Larry Parrott arrested Crystal Walters age 29 of Hammock Rd., London early Friday morning August 21, 2015 at approximately 2:42 AM.
The arrest occurred off Rocky Branch Road, approximately 4 miles south of London after Sgt. Parrott conducted an investigation on a suspicious vehicle near a business there.
The vehicle, a black Dodge Durango, was observed for an extended period of time near a business off Rocky Branch Road. A roadside investigation was conducted and Sgt. Parrott noted the odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from the driver and learned that the driver had apparently been drinking alcohol and taking Suboxone, and was determined to be under the influence.
Crystal Walters was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense and operating on suspended or revoked operator's license and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
