Two arrested on American Greeting Card Road in Laurel County

Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Travis Napier arrested two individuals on Tuesday afternoon August 25, 2015 at approximately 5:13 PM. The arrest occurred off American Greeting Card road, approximately 7 miles south of London after Deputy Napier was dispatched to a complaint of a male subject apparently in violation of an EPO.

When Deputy Napier arrived at the scene, he located a male subject with the petitioner of an EPO. Arrested was Timothy Dezarn age 32 of Lawrenceburg, KY charged with violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO. In addition, this subject was charged on 2 Anderson County bench warrants of arrest on charges including violation of furlough order and probation on charges of assault – fourth degree – domestic violence; criminal mischief – second-degree; assault – fourth degree – domestic violence; criminal mischief – second-degree; and unlawful imprisonment – second-degree.

Deputy Napier also arrested a second individual there – Amanda Ward age 25 of Lawrenceburg, Ky charged on a Jefferson County bench warrant of arrest for failure to appear in court on charges of theft by unlawful taking – shoplifting; possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – heroin; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both subjects were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
