Three arrested for drugs and a fugitive arrest in Laurel County

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Detective Jason Back arrested three individuals of little Pittsburg Road, approximately 4 miles north of London early Friday morning September 4, 2015 at approximately 2:05 AM.

Arrested following an investigation by the Sheriff's office were:

Billie Brewer age 44 of West Laurel Road, London charged with possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine – this subject was in possession of crystal methamphetamine.

Sherry Jarvis age 56 of Center Street, London charged with the possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine – this subject was found in possession of crystal methamphetamine.

Christopher Huff age 27 of Franklin, Indiana charged with being an Indiana fugitive and also charged on a Laurel County bench warrant of arrest for failure to appear in court.

All three subjects were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

Assisting on the investigation and arrests were: Laurel Sheriff's office Special Response Unit(SRU) led by Maj. Rodney Van Zant, along with team members-Detective Jason Back, Detective James Sizemore, Detective Kevin Berry, Deputy John Inman, Deputy Josh Scott, and Deputy Andrew Lawson, also assisting were: Sgt. Larry Parrott, Deputy Jamie Grimes, Deputy Kyle Gray, Deputy Tommy Houston, Deputy Shawn Jackson, Deputy Travis Napier, Bailiff Cody Faulconer, Bailiff Jason Bowden, US Marshal Todd Hansford, and KSP/CVE Officer Landry Collett and his K-9 dog.
