Drug investigation arrest in Laurel County

Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Detective Jason Back arrested David Bostic Jr.  age 48 Of Reams Ln. Apartments, London early Friday morning September 4, 2015 at approximately 12:14 AM.

The arrest occurred on Dogwood Hills Street, in London following a sheriff's office investigation after this subject was found in possession of Roxicet pills and a bag of crystal methamphetamine.

David Bostic Jr. was charged with possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance first-degree – first offense opiates.

David Bostick was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

Assisting on the investigation and arrest were:

Laurel Sheriff's office Special Response Unit (SRU) led by Maj. Rodney Van Zant, along with team members Detective Jason Back, Detective James Sizemore, Detective Kevin Berry, Deputy John Inman, Deputy Josh Scott, and Deputy Andrew Lawson.

Also assisting were:

Sgt. Larry Parrott, Deputy Jamie Grimes, Deputy Kyle Gray, Deputy Tommy Houston, Deputy Shawn Jackson, Deputy Travis Napier, Bailiff Cody Faulconer, Bailiff Jason Bowden, US Marshal Todd Hansford, and KSP/CVE Officer Landry Collett and his K-9 dog.
