Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Jamie Grimes arrested Wilford Jackson, age 43, Of Burnett Rd., London, on Sunday night, September 13, 2015, at approximately 8:45 PM.
The arrest occurred off McWhorter Road, approximately 2 miles east of London after Deputy Grimes was dispatched to a domestic violence complaint where this subject allegedly had been involved in a verbal argument with his sister, and had left the scene.
Deputy Grimes learned that this subject had an outstanding Carrol County bench warrant of arrest, and located this subject off McWhorter Road at his residence charging him on a Carrol County bench warrant of arrest for failure to appear in court regarding a charge of theft by unlawful taking.
In addition, this subject was a suspect in a burglary which occurred on September 6, 2015, off McWhorter Road where building materials were taken from a new house construction.
Video surveillance showed this subject taking building materials and supplies from the new home construction.
Wilford Jackson was also charged with burglary – third-degree and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
