(LONDON, KY.) – On Friday, September 18, 2015, at approximately 8:18 AM, Kentucky State Police Post 11, London received a call from Saint Joseph Hospital in London requesting KSP respond to the emergency room in reference to a deceased infant that had been transported to the ER by Laurel County EMS.
Upon arrival KSP Detective Mark Allen learned through an investigation that the three month old infant’s mother had called 911 after finding her child unresponsive inside her residence.
The cause of death has not been determined at this time, no foul play is suspected. An autopsy has been scheduled for a later date.
KSP Detective Mark Allen is continuing the investigation. He was assisted at the scene by Detective Brian Lewis.
