Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Jamie Grimes along with Deputy Brandon Broughton and Deputy Travis Napier arrested Derek Gray, age 21, of Williamstown, KY., on Sunday afternoon, September 27, 2015, at approximately 4:43 PM.
The arrest occurred off of High Moore Road, approximately 5 miles west of London after deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance there.
Upon arrival, deputies learned that apparently, there had been a verbal argument between this subject and his girlfriend's aunt. This subject then allegedly physically hit his girlfriend's aunt causing her to fall injuring her elbow and leg.
Derek Gray was charged with assault - fourth degree and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
