(LONDON, KY.) – On Sunday, October 04, 2015 at approximately 5:07 PM, Kentucky State Police Post 11, London received a report of a fatal ATV crash on Buzzard Hollow Road in Clay County.
Upon arrival Trooper Derrick Combs determined that a Honda ATV being operated by Bennie Mills Jr. 49, of Manchester, was traveling southbound when he traveled off the right shoulder of the highway and over an embankment.
Mills, who was not wearing a helmet was pronounced dead at the scene by the Clay County Coroner’s Office.
Trooper Combs is continuing the investigation and was assisted at the scene by Trooper Josh Wilson, Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Clay County EMS and the Horse Creek Fire Department.
