God’s Pantry Food Bank Announces Taste of Southeast Kentucky tickets on sale

London, Ky.  – Tickets for the 2ND annual Taste of Southeast Kentucky are on sale now, at www.GodsPantryFoodBank.org and all Cumberland Valley National Bank and Trust area locations, David’s Steakhouse in Corbin, KY and E. C. Porter’s IGA in London, KY. This year’s event presented by Walmart will be held at London’s Community Center (529 S. Main Street) on October 22nd from 5:30pm- 8:30pm and will feature live music by the Kites, food and beverages from many of the finest restaurants and beverage purveyors around Southeast Kentucky, a silent auction and lots of fun.

The Taste of the Bluegrass, a well-known and much anticipated annual event held in Lexington each year, features great local restaurants and beverage distributors sharing their signature dishes and beverages and a silent auction. Taste of Southeast Kentucky aims to replicate this success for a second year in a row, showcasing the best food and beverages from the popular Southeast region of Kentucky.  The event is hosted by and benefits God’s Pantry Food Bank Southeast Regional Distribution Center.

Restaurant, Food and Beverage Distributors participating in this year’s event are:

David’s Steak House and Buffet, The Abbey, Sonny’s BBQ, Baptist Health Corbin, Ale-8-One, Wildcat Water, Southern Wine and Spirits, Walmart Deli, Coca Cola, Dairy Queen, St. Joseph London and Ole Whitley BBQ with more to be announced.

The event includes a large silent auction with packages sure to appeal to everyone.

General admission tickets are $50 per person ($35 of which is tax deductible and the price includes alcoholic beverages). Tables are $500. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
