President of Northern Kentucky University "NKU" makes stop in London, KY

London, KY - Geoff Mearns who serves as the President of Northern Kentucky University (NKU) visited with students at the Center for Innovation (CFI) on October 22, 2015 to share a message of the quality of academic programs at NKU and the diverse student life programs available to students who attend NKU.

President Mearns spoke of the importance of students being creative, being ambitious, and working hard to achieve their goals. He made mention a number of times how impressed he was with the facility and the rigorous programs of study that are delivered by the faculty at the CFI.

Dr. James M. Davis, Principal at the CFI and President Mearns spoke of a shared and mutual commitment to future collaborations that would include the utilization of technology to bring NKU professors into the CFI classrooms for specialized guest lectures and outreach via Skype and other distance technology platforms.

Davis shared that it was a “high honor and great privilege” for CFI students to have an opportunity to hear from, meet with, and talk directly with an executive from an NCAA division one university who is leading NKU to national prominence in various academic programs.
