London, KY – On Wednesday, November 04, 2015, at approximately 7:07 PM Kentucky State Police Post 11, London received a call of an unresponsive three-month-old child at a residence on South KY HWY 1651 in the Stearns community of McCreary County.
The infant’s mother called 911 after finding her child unresponsive inside her residence.
Upon arrival, Trooper Edward Jones discovered the infant’s mother performing CPR. Trooper Jones took over until EMS arrived, but all attempts were unsuccessful.
The McCreary County Coroner Tim Corder pronounced the child deceased at the residence. The cause of death has not been determined at this time, but foul play is not suspected. An autopsy has been scheduled.
Trooper Jones continues the investigation. He was assisted at the scene by Trooper Desmond Brittle, McCreary County Sheriff’s Office and McCreary County EMS.
