Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Andrew Lawson along with Sgt. Larry Parrott arrested Bradley Owens age 27 of Crescent View Dr., London early Saturday morning November 7, 2015 at approximately 5:30 AM.
The arrest occurred off Thompson Poynter Road approximately 1 mile west of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint that a black Silverado pickup pulling a razor on trailer in the area of Crescent View Drive had allegedly struck a light pole.
When deputies arrived in the vicinity of the complaint they observed a black Silverado pickup pulling a trailer that had a flat tire on the trailer and also that this vehicle matched the description of the vehicle they were looking for that had allegedly struck a light pole.
A traffic stop was conducted and deputies detected the odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from this subject. This subject stated he had consumed a lot of alcohol. This subject was determined to be under the influence.
Bradley Owens was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
