Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Detective Jason Back along with the Laurel County Sheriff's office Special Response Unit (S.R.U.) arrested Clemous Tabor, age 47, of Brown Rd., London, early Wednesday morning, November 18, 2015, at approximately 1:40 AM.
The arrest occurred off of Brown Road, approximately 4 miles north of London after this subject was charged on a Rockcastle County indictment warrant of arrest charging trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense; operating a motor vehicle under the influence; and careless driving.
In addition, during the arrest deputies found this subject in possession of a .38 caliber handgun concealed in a backpack in his vehicle, nine Klonopin pills, 4 Suboxone strips, two sets of digital scales with methamphetamine on them.
This subject was charged with possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine; possession of a controlled substance – third-degree; carrying a concealed weapon; and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Also assisting on the arrest and investigation was: Sgt. Larry Parrott, Deputy Tommy Houston, Cpl. Jack Caudill, and KSP/CVE Ofc. Landry Collett, and his K-9 dog.
This subject was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
