Three individuals arrested off Old Whitley Road in Laurel County

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Shawn Jackson along with Deputy Andrew Lawson assisted by auxiliary Deputy Kenton Scharf arrested three individuals off Old Whitley Road, approximately 1 mile south of London, early Saturday morning, December 12, 2015, at approximately 2:45 AM.

The arrests occurred after deputies were dispatched to a complaint from a resident on Old Whitley Road stating that subjects were behind their residence in a parking lot fighting, yelling, screaming, and causing a loud disturbance there. When deputies arrived at the scene, they located 2 female subjects and learned that a third subject had fled the scene.

Deputies were able to locate the third subject, who was a male subject, hiding behind a piece of farm machinery in a barnyard on private property in the area.

Following an investigation conducted by deputies, it was determined that the three subjects had allegedly been involved in an altercation and created a disturbance in the neighborhood causing public alarm by waking up residents in the neighborhood.

All three subjects were determined to be under the influence and were arrested.  

The subject who fled was identified as Nathan Wade, age 36, of Columbus, Ohio, charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place; disorderly conduct – second degree; resisting arrest; and criminal trespassing – second degree.

Also arrested was LaDonna Roark, age 25, of Laurel Lake Rd., North London, charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place and disorderly conduct – second-degree.

A third subject arrested was identified as Asharay Christian, age 23, of Clover Bottom Rd., London, charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place and disorderly conduct – second-degree.

All three subjects were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
