LSO visits the "After School Learning Club" at Johnson Elementary School - Laurel County

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy Gilbert Acciardo and Deputy Craig Sutton visited the "After School Learning Club" at Johnson Elementary School on Thursday evening, December 17, 2015.

These children meet twice a week and are involved with a variety of different projects and activities occurring in their community. The children asked the Laurel County Sheriff's Office to drop by so the children could thank their area first responders.

Deputies used this opportunity to talk to the children about their profession of helping serve their community. The children had the opportunity to ask questions.

Sheriff Root commented that our children are the future of our county! Pictured are the students of the "After School Learning Club" at Johnson Elementary School along with Deputy Gilbert Acciardo, and Deputy Craig Sutton. Also pictured are London P.D. officers who were present.
