Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Rick Cloyd arrested James Jones, age 54, of Fire Station Road, East Bernstadt, on Saturday night, January 2, 2016, at approximately 8:26 PM.
The arrest occurred after Deputy Cloyd charged this subject on an outstanding Laurel County bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court regarding a charge of trafficking in a controlled substance – third-degree – first offense.
This subject was also wanted on a Laurel County bench warrant of arrest for probation revocation regarding a charge of trafficking in marijuana.
James Jones was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
