Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Sgt. Brett Reeves is investigating a criminal case at Walmart near Corbin in southern Laurel County after two individuals paid for purchases on two occasions using counterfeit $100.00 bills.
Apparently, a female and a male subject used three counterfeit $100.00 bills on Saturday, January 9, 2016 to pay for purchases at Walmart.
Then, on Sunday, January 10, 2016 the same two subjects used four counterfeit $100.00 bills to pay for purchases at Walmart.
Surveillance photos of the two suspects have been provided by Walmart.
