Disorderly conduct arrest in Laurel County

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Sgt. Larry Parrott and Deputy Tommy Houston arrested Warren Chapman, age 23, of Oak Place, Corbin, early Wednesday morning, January 13, 2016, at approximately 1:15 AM.

The arrest occurred off Millstone Lane just south of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint at General Dynamics that a male subject was there causing a disturbance and was possibly intoxicated.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they encountered this subject creating a disturbance with management and security in the foyer of the building. They also detected the odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from this subject and this subject continued to create a disturbance while deputies were there. This subject was determined to be under the influence. Upon arrest this subject continued to create a disturbance yelling and cursing deputies.

This subject also urinated in the backseat of Sgt. Parrott's cruiser. Warren Chapman was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place; disorderly conduct – second degree; and criminal mischief – third-degree and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
