Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Brandon Broughton arrested Johnny Vires, age 46, of Keavy Rd., London, on Tuesday afternoon, February 16, 2016, at approximately 4:01 PM.
The arrest occurred off Keavy Road approximately 4 miles south of London after this subject was charged on a Kentucky parole violation warrant charging absconding parole supervision and failure to report to parole officer as directed regarding a conviction in Laurel Circuit Court for trafficking in a controlled substance first-degree first offense methamphetamine.
In addition, this subject was charged on three Laurel County bench warrants of arrest charging failure to appear in court regarding charges of fleeing or evading police– motor vehicle; fleeing or evading police – second-degree – on foot; falsely reporting an incident; and alcohol intoxication in a public place.
