LONDON POLICE ARREST A JOHNSON ROAD RESIDENT FOR TRAFFICKING MARIJUANA

LONDON KY — An ongoing narcotics investigation led London Police to execute a search warrant on a Johnson Road residence on Thursday, February 18th, 2016.

Through executing the search warrant, officers arrested Regina Couch, 51, of London. A K9 trained to detect narcotics handled by Ofc. Greg Turner searched the Johnson Road residence.

London Police seized over 1lb 1.5oz of marijuana, $3,553 in cash, and drug paraphernalia. Assisting at the scene include Capt. Darrel Kilburn, Det. Sgt. Joe Smith, Det. Sgt. Gary Proffitt, and Det. Stacy Anderkin.

The investigation is ongoing and the London Police Department urges the public to always report suspected drug activity in your neighborhood.

Regina Couch was arrested and charged with trafficking in marijuana 8oz or more. A class D felony.

She was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
