(Cawood, Ky.) - On March 23, 2016 at 8:10 P.M., KSP Detective Kevin Miller has arrested the wife of a jailed murder suspect.
Arrested was:
Kayla Curtis, 30, of Cawood, KY - Charged with murder, tampering with physical evidence, and abuse of a corpse. Her husband Michael was arrested on March 22, 2016 at approximately 11:45 P.M.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Curtis are lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center. A "Full Cash" bond of $500,000.00 has been set for each subject.
Detectives at Post 10 are still waiting on the State Medical Examiner's Office in Frankfort to make a positive identification on the remains.
Case is still under investigation by Det. Kevin Miller and will be updated as information comes available.
