Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Sgt. Larry Parrott arrested a Rockhold, Ky. man early Saturday morning March 26, 2016 at approximately 4:04 AM.
Arrested was Glenn Reid age 52 of Cripple Creek Road, Rockhold, Ky.
The arrest occurred on US 25 approximately 7 miles south of London after Sgt. Parrott stopped to check on a blue Ford Taurus sitting on the side of the roadway with its headlights on.
When Sgt. Parrott approached the vehicle he detected the odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from the driver. The driver stated that he had drank quite a lot earlier but had not had much since midnight.
An investigation was conducted and the driver was determined to be under the influence.
Glenn Reid was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
