Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Sgt. Brett Reeves investigated a single vehicle injury traffic crash which occurred on Ky 472 approximately 2 miles east of London on Tuesday afternoon April 5, 2016 at approximately 1:00 PM.
The investigating deputy reports that apparently a car was traveling westbound on Ky 472 when it rounded a left hand curve and apparently a pop bottle got stuck under the brake pedal and the driver couldn't stop and traveled off the left side of the road and struck a culvert.
The driver was identified as Cody Dean Baker age 20 Of Portersburg Road, Manchester, Ky. and was transported by Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County to London St. Joseph Hospital for treatment of possible injuries.
Assisting at the scene of the crash was Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County and Laurel County fire Department.
