Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root Is reporting that: Deputy Jamie Grimes along with Deputy Tommy Houston arrested a London resident early Tuesday morning April 5, 2016 at approximately 2:15 AM.
Arrested was:
Rebecca Peters age 41 of Ravenwood View, London, KY.
The arrest occurred off Ravenwood view, approximately 2 miles west of London after deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance there. When deputies arrived and conducted an investigation they learned that apparently there was no domestic violence occurring at the residence.
Apparently a female subject there had attempted to leave the residence with her boyfriend's medications in a taxicab. An investigation of the female subject determined that she was under the influence – she admitted to drinking several beers and taking a controlled substance.
Rebecca Peters was charged with Falsely Reporting an Incident and Alcohol Intoxication and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
