Disorderly conduct arrest on White Oak Road - Laurel County

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Jamie Grimes arrested a male subject of White Oak Rd., London, early Friday morning, April 8, 2016, at approximately 1:45 AM.

Arrested was Joseph Arthur, age 28.  The arrest occurred off White Oak Road, approximately 6 miles west of London after deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance there.

Upon arrival, Deputy Grimes learned that a male subject there was allegedly extremely intoxicated on meth. This subject's grandmother stated this subject had been in this condition for over a week and she was not able to sleep, and was creating a disturbance there.

Upon arrest, this subject became irate and following a short struggle was taken into custody.

Joseph Arthur was charged with disorderly conduct – second-degree resisting arrest and public intoxication – controlled substances and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
