London, KY - On Thursday, April 07, 2016, Detective Billy Correll along with the Kentucky State Medical Examiner met with the University of Tennessee Department of Forensic Anthropology regarding the human remains found in McCreary County on Tuesday, March 29, 2016.
The remains have been identified as Charles R. Murphy, 26, of Stearns, KY. He was reported missing to the McCreary County Sheriff’s Office in June 2015.
The Kentucky State Medical Examiner along with the University of Tennessee Forensic Anthropology Department are continuing their examination to determine the cause of death.
Detective Correll is continuing the investigation.
