Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Sgt. Brett Reeves arrested a male subject of Wood Hollow Rd., Corbin, on Wednesday morning, April 20, 2016, at approximately 10:43 AM.
Arrested was Delaney Goodin, age 23. The arrest occurred at Walmart near Corbin in southern Laurel County after Walmart's loss prevention team detained this subject.
When Sgt. Reeves arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation, he learned that this subject had allegedly been observed attempting to leave the store without paying for items by placing items in a Walmart bag and walking out of the store.
Delaney Goodin was charged with theft by unlawful taking – shoplifting and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
