KSP Investigates Double Homicide in Owsley County - Arrest made


(Booneville, KY) — The Kentucky State Police charged an Owsley County woman with Murder last night, after two Owsley County Residents were found deceased Friday morning May 6, 2016 at their residence in Owsley County.

Lynette R. McQuinn, 48 years old of Booneville was arrested just before 8:00 pm Friday, and is lodged in the Three Forks Regional Jail charged on Tampering with Physical Evidence and two counts of Murder.

The initial investigation alleges that Lynette McQuinn fatally shot her parents, Robert McQuinn, 70 years old, and Ada McQuinn, 66 years old, early Friday morning at their residence on Wilson Lane.

The ongoing investigation is being conducted by KSP Detective Rob Morris.

(Booneville, KY) — The Kentucky State Police Richmond Post was called just before 11:30 am after a man and women were found deceased in their residence on Wilson Lane in Owsley County.

The initial investigation indicates that the male and female were fatally shot while inside their residence on Wilson Lane. They were pronounced deceased at the scene by the Owsley County Coroner, and their identities are not being released at this time.

The ongoing investigation is being conducted by KSP Detective Rob Morris. He is assisted at the scene by KSP Personnel, Owsley County Sheriff's Office, and the Owsley County Coroner.
