Manchester man arrested by LSO following a domestic disturbance complaint


Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Jamie Grimes along with Deputy Brandon Broughton arrested a male subject of Saw Hollow Rd., Manchester, on Monday night, May 9, 2016, at approximately 9:35 PM.

Arrested was Roger Bowling, age 26.  The arrest occurred off Jackson Fariston Road, approximately 4 miles south of London after deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance there.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they could hear the subject creating a disturbance – yelling and cursing inside the residence. Deputies knocked on the front door of the residence and conducted an investigation learning that this subject had apparently left out the back door of the residence.

When deputies located this subject, they determined that he was under the influence – he stated he had snorted meth earlier. Deputies learned that this subject had allegedly made threats to hurt others at the residence.

Roger Bowling was charged with public intoxication – controlled substances; disorderly conduct – second degree; and menacing and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
