Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Shannon Jones arrested Christopher Allen Harris age 23 of Mercedes Dr., Keavy early Friday morning May 13, 2016 at approximately 12:48 AM.
The arrest occurred off Mercedes drive, approximately 10 miles south of London after Deputy Jones was dispatched to a domestic dispute there.
When Deputy Jones arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation and he learned that allegedly this subject had put his hand over the female victim's nose and mouth and she could not breathe and then shoved her to the floor.
This subject stated that he put his hand over her mouth because she was yelling at him.
Christopher Allen Harris was charged with assault – fourth degree and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
