KSP Criminal Patrol Seizure

One arrested in Pineville

PINEVILLE, Ky. (June 14, 2016)On Tuesday, June 14, 2016 shortly after 6:30 a.m., Kentucky State Police Criminal Interdiction Team from KSP Harlan, initiated a traffic stop on US 25E in the Pineville community of Bell County, which led to one person being arrested on drug trafficking charges.

Trooper Brandon Burton conducted a traffic stop on a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt operated by Lisa Ramey of Fourmile, KY.  During the investigation, troopers were able to locate a large amount narcotics with an estimated street value of $21,094. Also seized was over $600 dollars in US currency.

Michael Reynolds, age 36, of Hulen, KY was arrested and charged with the following: two counts of trafficking controlled substance first degree, first offense, three counts of trafficking controlled substance third degree, first offense, possession of controlled substance first degree, first offense, possession of controlled substance third degree, first offense, tampering with physical evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Mr. Reynolds was lodged in the Bell County Detention Center.

Ms. Ramey was cited for numerous traffic charges.

The investigation continues by Tpr. Brandon Burton.  He was assisted on scene by KSP Sgt. Jay Perkins, Trooper Joey Brigmon and KSP Canine handler, Trooper Dallas Eubanks.
