KSP Charges Jefferson Co. Men With Child Sexual Exploitation Offenses


Louisville, Ky. (June 29, 2016) — On June 28, 2016, at approximately 2:00 p.m., the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch, assisted by Louisville Metro Police Department, arrested Bryan A. Webb, 23, and Jason L. Webb, 34, on charges related to distribution and possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.

Both men were arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering a suspect sharing images of child sexual exploitation online. Further investigation lead to both men being in possession of child sexual exploitation materials.

The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at Webb’s residence in Louisville on June 28, 2016. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination. The investigation is ongoing.

Bryan Webb is currently charged with one count of distribution and nine counts of possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor. Jason Webb is charged with 20 counts of possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor. Each charge is a Class-D felony punishable by one to five years in prison. Additional charges are expected.

Both men were lodged in the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections.
