Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Sgt. Brett Reeves arrested Lester Moore age 54 of Bray Rd., London was on Wednesday afternoon in July 13, 2016 at approximately 1:53 PM.
The arrest occurred on Waterworks Road, approximately 2 miles west of London after Sgt. Reeves was dispatched to a complaint that a subject driving a gold colored Buick LeSabre at was allegedly driving down Waterworks Road drinking a beer when he drove through a yard as he passed a flagman warning traffic of workers ahead for a utility company.
Sgt. Reeves conducted an investigation on this driver and determined that he was under the influence – this subject admitted to drinking beer prior to driving and also had an open beer can in the vehicle which he stated he was drinking while driving down the road.
Lester Moore was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense and possession of open alcoholic beverage container in motor vehicle prohibited.
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
