Walker, KY - The Knox County, Ky Sheriff's Department is reporting that Knox County Deputy Sheriff Chad Wagner received a report of a burglary in progress at a residence on Meadow Branch Road in Walker. The caller also advised they had a female detained inside the residence.
When Deputy Wagner arrived he observed a broken window, a turned over kitchen table and broken items all over the floor. The victims of the burglary were detaining Janet Young, who they caught inside the residence.
Deputy Wagner arrested Janet Young age 37 of Corbin, KY charging her with Burglary 2nd Degree, Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree, Theft of a Legend Drug and Public Intoxication/Controlled Substance.
Janet Young was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
