Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Detective Kevin Berry is investigating a strong arm robbery which occurred at Corner Market, at the junction of Highway 830 and Ky 1223, approximately 10 miles south of London at noon on July 26, 2016.
The investigating detective reports that a male subject entered the store, asked the store clerk for change for $100 and snatched a money bag from the store clerk and fled the scene in a vehicle. An undisclosed amount of money was taken.
The vehicle appeared to be occupied by a female subject. The vehicle is described as a blue colored Monte Carlo with a red fender. The vehicle fled on Ky 1223. The male subject has been identified as Jason Wells age 37 of Old State Rd., Lily.
