Complaint results in LSO arrest of female subject


Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Tommy Houston arrested Holly Parsley age 30 Of Steele St., Corbin on Sunday night July 31, 2016 at approximately 11:09 PM.

The arrest occurred after Deputy Houston was dispatched to a complaint of a female subject walking down North 1223 possibly under the influence staggering out in front of traffic causing a hazard to herself and others.

When Deputy Houston arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation he determined that this subject was under the influence.

Allegedly she was attempting to get into a tractor-trailer that happened to be lost in the area, the truck driver stated he could not get back into his truck because of this subject.

While Deputy Houston was conducting his investigation this subject created a disturbance by yelling and cursing at Deputy Houston.

Holly Parsley was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place and disorderly conduct – second-degree and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
