BURGIN, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post was contacted Tuesday by the City of Burgin, and asked to investigate a threat against one of their police officers.
The initial investigation indicates that the City of Burgin received a piece of mail through the US Postal Service that threatened bodily injury against a police officer if he did not stop doing his job.
Anyone with any information about the person responsible for mailing the threat is asked to contact KSP Post 7 at 859-823-2404.
The ongoing investigation is being conducted by KSP Detective Frank Thornberry.
