LSO - Criminal Trespassing arrest


Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Sgt. Larry Parrott along with Deputy Shannon Jones arrested Jammy Garland age 45 of little Arthur Ridge Rd., East Bernstadt early Saturday morning August 13, 2016 at approximately 1:53 AM.

The arrest occurred off East Laurel Rd., approximately 8 miles east of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint that a homeowner there was reporting that a female subject was in their yard screaming and yelling and creating a disturbance.

When deputies arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation they learned that this subject had allegedly been taking Lorcet and was determined to be under the influence. In addition, this person had outstanding warrants of arrest.

Jammy Garland was charged with public intoxication – controlled substances; and criminal trespassing – third-degree. In addition, this subject was charged on a Laurel County bench warrant of arrest for failure to appear in court on charges of operating on suspended or revoked operators license and leaving the scene of an accident. In addition, this subject was charged on a Knox County bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of public intoxication – controlled substances.

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
