LSO deputy charges 3rd suspect on robbery-shooting off Taylor Bridge Road

Laurel County, KY Sheriff John Root (pictured) is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective Kevin Berry on Wednesday, August 24th, 2016 charged a 3rd individual regarding the robbery/shooting of Trey Hedrick which occurred off Taylor Bridge Road, approximately 5 miles south of London on Friday night June 10, 2016 at approximately 6:30 PM.

This additional arrest was the result of a thorough investigation conducted by the Laurel County Sheriff's office and the locating of the 3rd suspect allegedly involved.

Lexington Police Dept. assisted LSO Detective Kevin Berry in taking the suspect into custody after he was located in Lexington.

Bailiff Brad Mink, and Bailiff Taylor McDaniel traveled to Lexington and transported the suspect back to Laurel County on Wednesday, and he is now in custody in a juvenile detention facility. He is identified as: a 17 year old male juvenile from Lexington, Ky charged with Attempted Murder, Robbery 1st Degree, Theft by Unlawful Taking and Tampering with Physical Evidence.

Previously arrested was:

Deontae Williams age 19 of Lexington, and a 16-year-old female juvenile runaway (taken into custody) from London, Kentucky both charged with attempted murder; robbery – first-degree; theft by unlawful taking – firearm; and theft by unlawful taking under $500.

Deontae Williams was lodged in the Laurel County detention Center.

The 16-year-old female juvenile was transported to the juvenile detention facility in Breathitt County and detained.
