WCSD Press Release | Sep 21, 2016 | - On September 16, 2016, Lieutenant Dennis Foley received a complaint that a black Toyota Camry was suspiciously parked by a business in the Bee Creek community.

Upon arrival, Lt. Foley made contact with Susan Thomas, 45, of the Bee Creek area. The sedan’s registration was expired, and it was determined that Thomas had a warrant for her arrest due to a court case in Pulaski County.

During Lt. Foley’s interactions with the female, he observed items in the driver’s side floorboard. Located there was approximately $500 in cash and a clear plastic bag containing pills believed to be hydrocodone.

Upon searching the car, Lt. Foley located a substance believed to be methamphetamine, small pipes, a digital weighing scale, empty plastic baggies and other items believe to be drug paraphernalia. Also located were plastic baggies that appeared to contain drug residue and/or a substance believed to be methamphetamine.

The vehicle, cash and illegal items were seized. Thomas was the only person in the vehicle. She was arrested and is charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (meth), first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth), first-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
