Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Sgt. Greg Poynter along with Deputy John Inman arrested Steven Murray age 32 of Mike Genton Road, Crab Orchard, KY early Tuesday morning October 18, 2016 at approximately 8:12 AM.
The arrest occurred off Victory Street, approximately 5 miles north of London after this subject was found hiding in his adult girlfriend's bedroom and had been advised numerous times by the owner of the residence to not be on his property. Deputies also determined that this subject was wanted on two outstanding warrants.
Steven Murray was charged with criminal trespassing – second-degree. In addition, this subject was charged on a Lincoln County indictment warrant of arrest charging burglary – third-degree; theft by unlawful taking – firearm; and receiving stolen property under $500.
Also, this subject was charged on a Garrard County bench warrant of arrest on a KAP violation regarding charges of possession of open alcoholic beverages in motor vehicle prohibited and operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense.
This subject was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
