PF&R Responds to a Warehouse Fire in Portland, Oregon

PORTLAND, OR - This morning just after 9:00 AM Portland Firefighters were called to a warehouse fire on the 6100 block of NE Lombard St. Arriving crews found heavy smoke billowing from a warehouse. Firefighters moved into the structure to locate the fire and to search for any trapped occupants.

KY Attorney General: Taxpayers Not Required to Pay for Inmate Gender Surgeries

FRANKFORT, KY (Dec. 19, 2024) – Attorney General Russell Coleman released an Opinion of the Attorney General today rejecting the assertion that Kentucky taxpayers should be forced to pay for convicted criminals' gender surgeries. The Kentucky Department of Corrections requested the Opinion as it amends its administrative regulations regarding medical care for inmates.
