MADISONVILLE, KY (January 1, 2025) –  The Kentucky State Police (KSP) will be conducting traffic safety checkpoints throughout the Post 2 district, to check motorists for compliance with motor vehicle laws including driving under the influence statutes.

Some of these proactive measures include various roadside safety checkpoints and saturating known problematic areas in the district through general patrol tactics.

ELIZABETHTOWN, KY (Jan. 1, 2025) -Kentucky State Police Post 4 will be conducting periodic traffic safety checkpoints in the Post 4 area, which includes Hardin, Jefferson, Bullitt, Nelson, Meade, Breckinridge, Larue, and Grayson counties. 

KLAMATH COUNTY, OR - The Oregon State Police (OSP) report that on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at 7:52 a.m., Oregon State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Hwy 97, near milepost 234, in Klamath County.

OWENSBORO, KY (December 21, 2024) – The Kentucky State Police (KSP) is reporting that KSP Post 16, Henderson has been requested by the Owensboro Police Department (OPD) to investigate an officer-involved shooting in the city limits of Owensboro. KSP Post 16 was contacted just after 4:00 a.m. CST regarding the incident in the 500 block of Orchard Street. Troopers and detectives responded to the location and are currently processing the scene.
